National Standards

  • Belgium. Agrément technique de produit avec certification de l'Union Scientifique pour l'agrèment techniques dans la construction.

  • France. CSTB (Centre Scientifique et Technique du Batiment) Rapport d'Evaluation Technique, 10.07.92. Covering 55% Al-Zn sheet produced by Galvalange under the brand name ALUZINC.

  • Germany. DIN 55928 part 8 1994 (table 3, p.10) equates unpainted 55% Al-Zn with pre-painted galvanised steel for external roofing. Several producers of 55% Al-Zn have obtained the Ü-Zeichen approval for building construction in Germany.

  • Japan.
    JIS G3321:1998 - unpainted 55% Al-Zn sheet and coil.
    JIS G3322:1998 - pre-painted 55% Al-Zn sheet and coil.

  • Sweden. SITAC (the Swedish Institute for Technical Approval in Construction) has approved 55% Al-Zn as equal to pre-painted for external roofing, to be used in corrosivity classes C1 - C4 according to EN ISO 12944-2:1998. Certificate no. 1245/94.

  • United Kingdom. British Board of Agrément Certificate No. 93/2971.

  • USA. ASTM Designation: A 792/A 792/M - 97-a. "Standard specification for steel sheet, 55% Aluminium-Zinc alloy coated by the hot-dip process".
