Al-Zn coated steel has an alloy coating of aluminium (Al) and zinc (Zn)
applied by a hot-dip process on a continuous metallic coating line.
The unique composition of the coating creates a product with outstanding
corrosion resistance. 55% Al-Zn is showing some of the fastest sales
growth of any metal in construction: annual global production is now
over 4 million tonnes, with some 500,000 buildings a year using the
material.
